This is a brief overview of the services that I can offer you. If you have a more specific need, please contact me and let me know what you need.
I mainly work within Montana and the Dakotas for on site research, but I will do other areas upon request. I do my best to use internet resources, microfilm, and record repository contacts for other states. This eliminates the need for travel expenses. If you have a specific need outside of these areas, please contact me.
: I lecture and teach in many areas of Genealogy. I offer a series of Beginner classes, Internet research, specialized topics of a society or groups choosing. I can present a single program or topic at a convention or a half or whole day on location. Teaching time is usually 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon. This can be adjusted to fit your requirements. The selection of classes can vary upon need and desire of each group. This is an excellent fund raising method and a way to increase your membership numbers. I provide handouts on each topic. My audiences say that I am both educational and entertaining. A main component of my teaching style is story telling as a method to help retention of the topic. A question and answer period is always included and encouraged. “Solving Dead Ends” a class addressing problems received in advance is another good series. Fees depend on the time selected plus travel costs.
: $50 for 2 hours (including a written report)
: $25 per hour
: The actual fee
: $ .50 per mile (each way)
